Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from dental offices, patients, and periodontists partnering with PPG.

What are the benefits of working with PPG as a dentist?

The general dentist, periodontist, and patient can all communicate clearly when there is an in-house periodontist. This offers immediate results since the dental office has access to their patients' records. There is no need to refer out patients, which saves your patients' time and effort. All of these benefits increase net revenue!

What are the benefits of working with PPG as a periodontist?

Opportunity to be busy from day one without acquiring large overhead. There is no need to spend extra money on purchasing a practice. Immediate cash flow can be achieved by only investing in your instruments and practicing in state-of-the-art facilities, making it possible to deliver the highest standard of care.

How many days/hours am I required to work?

Our periodontists can design a schedule that is mutually beneficial. This means working as many days or hours as one wants—be it five days a week or five days a month. With a very competitive compensation package, this allows each provider to meet their individual financial goals.

How many years of experience does PPG look for in their periodontists?

The majority of our periodontists have at least two or more years of clinical experience. But we welcome new graduates and encourage them to apply.

Am I hired as an independent contractor or as an employee?

All our team members are hired as independent contractors. This allows flexibility in the number of days or hours that work best with their schedules.

As a patient, why should I look for a dentist who has an in-house periodontist?

Having your periodontal (gum) procedure done in a dental office is an easy and efficient process. It saves you the time of needing to drive to a specialist on a different day.
